To make your party go with a swing along with a Disco featuring the latest pop tunes and party favourites you need to ensure your guest's are entertain. To do this in-between all that dancing we arrange a series of games that all can play, which are tailored to the age of your guests. Typical Games Played include: (though please note we are constantly evolving the games) Pass The Hat A game similar to pass the parcel, all the guest's site in a circle, passing a hat round, placing it on their heads as they go, when the music stops the guest with the hat is out. Musical Bumps - Statues - Chairs All classic games still loved by children of all ages. The Mummy Game. Ideal for older children, this game needs teams of two children, one of whom is the mummy, the other the embalmer. It's a straight race to see which embalmer can mummify which mummy first, from head to toe. Though we use a very special material for the embalming, it's common name is toilet roll! All tied Up. The party is split into two teams, each team is issued with a pencil tied to a very long piece of string. The first person in the team takes the pencil and feeds it up their clothes from bottom to top, then passing the pencil to the second person who feeds it down their clothes. On to the next person who goes up again and so on. The wining team is the first one that has all the members "All tied Up" The above are a small example of the games we play during a party, winners receive a small prize of a sweet to reward their efforts. Some people prefer different prizes, perhaps larger or more valuable or even none sweet. Please advise us and we can arrange the prizes tailored to your needs. Pass The Parcel The best way to calm everything down before the birthday tea for children of all ages is a game of Pass the Parcel. It allows everyone to take part and normally everyone gets a go "with a little bit of cheating". Normally each wrapper removed, sees the player rewarded with a sweet, though as above different prizes can be included. If you have older children, rather than a sweet each layer contains a forfeit which must be completed before the prize is won - can you name the four school houses in Harry Potter? If you arrange your own pass the parcel, we suggest as above, including one wrapper per child and a couple of spares to ensure all get a go. But make sure your prize is very small particularly if you have more than a dozen children. For as the layers build up the parcel will become to big for them to hold particularly younger children.
